Is “work hard party hard” your motto of life? Or is making heads turn more your thing? Whatever be the reason, a luxury car seems like the right splurge for you. After all, there is nothing quite like the feeling of accomplishment that driving a high-end car gives you. Here we have complied the best cars in the luxury segment. So be it an impulsive decision after a windfall bonus, or a dream purchase you have saved up for since years, read on to find out where to put your money!
  1. BMW M850i xDrive Coupe: After 20 long years, BMW is back with the 8 series Coupe in 2019 and has relaunched it with “double bubble” styling. The 4.4-liter 523 hp twin-turbocharged V8 engine reaches 60 mph in a cool 3.6 seconds, and the transmission is 8-speed automatic, making it one of the most fun drives you will ever have. The “xDrive” all-wheel drive comes standard, with performance-minded options, including Active Roll Stabilization to help keep the car perfectly flat through the curvy roads. Additional features include self-parking among many others. The interior designing is equally classy, with the sport seats being trimmed in premium Merino leather with contrast stitching.
  2. Mercedes-Benz A-Class: The name that is synonymous with luxury cars, Mercedes is targeting a whole new segment with its A class hatchback. It is available at a lesser price than its sedan and SUV counterparts, making it ideal for anyone who wishes to own a Mercedes at an entry level. This car has 370L of luggage space seats up and 1,210L with the 40/20/40-split rear seat folded. Even at a lower price tag, the features however are nothing less than what you would expect from Mercedes. The standard equipment list includes heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof and dual-zone climate control along with a central touchscreen for the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system. It also supports M-B’s version of Siri — say “Hey, Mercedes, it’s cold in here” and the A-Class cranks up the heater.
  3. Lexus UX: The latest offering from the house of Lexus is its Urban crossover. The features of this car are as high quality as you would want from a Lexus- the cabin is finished with top quality materials, comfortable seating and, finally, an infotainment system that works with Apple CarPlay. For a crossover, this is quite spacious at 486 litres of cargo space with the seats up. The all-new 2.0L engine that pushes 168 hp and 151 lb.-ft. of torque guarantees you nothing less than a powerful and fun drive every single time. However, the Lexus also does not compromise on safety: the UX arrives with a full suite of safety equipment in the form of the Lexus Safety System+
  4. Audi Q8: This hybrid from Audi comes with a responsive mild-hybrid powertrain and a comfortable ride for all its five passengers. This model is based on the Q7, its forerunner, but its shorter overhangs and a wider track give it a sportier look.  It is powered by a 3.0L turbocharged V6 (335 hp) that drives an eight-speed automatic and the Quattro all-wheel-drive system. It has 40/60 front-rear torque split, but it can send up to 70 per cent of the torque to the front wheels and 85 to the rear. The interior designing is classic Audi- with its bolstered leather seating and MMI Touch twin-screen infotainment system which guarantee an unparalleled passenger experience.
  5. Porsche 911: The eighth generation of the classic 911 from Porsche is all set to blow your mind this summer. While the engine capacity remains at 3 litres, it has been upgraded to 443 horsepower, up 23 hp, and 390 lb.-ft. of peak torque at 2,300 rpm. Teamed with an eight-speed twin-clutch gearbox, the new 911 runs to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and 3.5 seconds with the Sport Chrono package aboard. There’s also a slight fuel economy improvement, which is always great news!
These were some of the best luxury cars that are totally worth your investment and much more. If you feel like any one of these deserve your savings, we say gear up and take the test drive!
